Vaccination calendar
A practical, year-round plan for vaccinations, deworming and tick control. Use it as a template and align the timing with your region's rainy season and your national veterinary programme.

Why a vaccination calendar pays for itself
A single anthrax or blackleg outbreak can kill multiple animals in days; East Coast Fever alone kills around a million cattle a year in East Africa. Against those losses, the cost of routine vaccination and dipping is tiny. A written calendar turns disease control from a reaction into a routine — so the right vaccine is given at the right time, every year, before the season of risk.
Combine this calendar with breed choice: several African breeds carry natural resistance to specific diseases. Explore breed profiles to see which breeds are best suited to your disease environment.
